Organic Fertilizers
One of the most essential characteristics of organic farming is the prohibition of the use of chemicals and the use of natural goods in all agricultural procedures. Fertilizers are one type of significant chemical utilised by farmers. Inorganic and chemical fertilisers are in high demand because to their capacity to produce results faster than organic fertilisers. However, excessive usage of synthetic fertilisers has a negative impact on soil health, the environment, and human health. That is why we only use organic fertilisers on our mango trees to provide you with the benefits of organic products while also considering the health of the land and people. We prepare compost on our farm using various techniques and feed it to our mango plants.
What is an Organic Fertilizer? Organic Fertilizers, often known as compost and/or manure, are made up of nutrient-rich waste from animals, plants or humans.

What Organic Fertilizer do we use?
-
Vermicompost is used as organic fertiliser for our mango trees. Vermicompost is the end result of a decomposition process that uses several kinds of worms to produce a mixture of decaying vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.
Preparation of Vermicomposting:
Earthworms feed on organic waste materials (Cow dung, Dry mango leaves) and excreta in the form of “vermicasts” that are high in nitrates and minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and potassium during the vermicomposting process. These act as fertilisers and improve soil quality.
Advantages of Vermicomposting:
-
Enhances plant growth
-
Suppresses disease in plants
-
Increases porosity and microbial activity in soil
-
Improves water retention and aeration.
